^Lot 716 REMINGTON CONTRACT RUSSIAN M91 MOSIN NAGANT

SERIAL NUMBER: 134813. BARREL: 31-1/2". CALIBER: 7.62X54R. MANUFACTURED: 1917. Made by Remington for the Russian Empire. This gun made it to Russian and was later captured by the Finns, as there is a boxed "SA" on the right side of the chamber. Import marked on the barrel. Matching serials on the barrel shank and bolt. Trigger guard does not match. Butt plate is not numbered. Standard M91 sight. Metal components have an arsenal applied blued finish. Finnish replacement stock has been lightly sanded. CONDITION: Metal is very good overall, with general wear. Wood has minor handling marks and scratches. There are numerous arsenal repairs. Bore is heavily frosted with fair overall rifling.
