^Lot 588 HIGHLY DECORATED FULL STOCK KENTUCKY RIFLE

BARREL 37". CALIBER 50 PERCUSSION. Features a full length tiger maple stock , full octagon barrel, knife blade front sight, unusual low single leaf rear sight, double set triggers, newer wood rod, brass furniture. Rifle sports a two piece brass patch box, brass but plate with ornate 6" upper tang, three brass tubes, fore-end tip, brass palm plate under fore-arm. Decorated with two brass reinforcing plates on either side of upper tang. Left side of stock has a silver Moravian star. Nine small decorative silver inlays including heart with 14 inlays on right side. Engraved lock is stamped Golcher. Set triggers work correctly. Condition. All iron is patina. Stock is superb with great finish. Excellent sharp bore. Really handsome rifle. ANTIQUE
