BARREL 31.5". CALIBER 577. LOCK DATED 1860 WITH TOWER AND VR CROWN. Features full length walnut stock with circle cartouche on right side that is visible but not readable, two bands, ramrod, barrel has bayonet lug, single blade rear sight, brass furniture and period correct cotton sling. CONDITION. Metal finished in the white with toning. Stock is excellent with minor abrasions. Strong legends. Very hard to find short rifle and a prize gun within the Confederacy. ANTIQUE
