^Lot 369 FRENCH MITRAILLEUSE 8MM SQUEEZER PISTOL W/ CASE

SERIAL NUMBER 989 BARREL 2" CALIBER 8MM CENTERFIRE MANUFACTURED CIRCA 1890. Very ornate and profusely engraved in a floral design. Barrel marked "MITRAILLEUSE" Checkered brown bakalite palm grip panel with matching internal serial numbers. Internal side plates are engine turned. pistol has an internal non-removeable magazine with a 5 round capacity. Left side plate is marked "MANUFACTURE FRANCAISE D' ARMES DE ST ETIENNE" Right side has a toggling safety. Pistol is cased in a soft leather pocket purse with metal frame and clasp and chamois lined. CONDITION, Very fine with most all finish remaining. The bore is excellent and action operates properly. Case is very fine with supple leather and solid stitching. ANTIQUE
