SERIAL 1435. BARREL 7". CALIBER .45. ISSUED 1874-75. Ordered for the US cavalry, the butt is stamped US . The grips both have cartouche stamps that are faint but visible. Matching serial number stamped on right grip and back of cylinder. Finish is blue with case color hammer. Barrel has full rib. Grips are smooth walnut. Comes with an original US holster in excellent condition. Condition. Frame retains about 60% blue with balance of metal a soft patina. Legends are sharp. Grips are excellent.
