SERIAL NUMBER 5165 BARREL 2 1/4" CALIBER .38 COLT C.F. MANUFACTURED 1875. Produced by Colt with factory nickel finish and mounted with 2 piece Mother of Pearl grips. Barrel is crisply marked with etched panel "COLT NEW 38" 5 shot cylinder has long flutes and revolver is serial numbered on frame under left grip. bottom of barrel and cylinder has last 3 digits of serial number on rear. Spur trigger, single action operation with very small and fine 2 line Colt Hartford address on top of barrel and frame marked 38 cal CF on left side under cylinder. CONDITION, Very fine with over 97% nickel finish remaining on frame and barrel with cylinder retaining 95% with a small rub on one side from storage. The bore and chambers are very good . The action operates properly with solid lock-up. The grips are very fine with some minute chipping at top. ANTIQUE
