This is a near exact replica of the Nettleton inspected US Cavalry Colts with the high polish blue and case color finish. One piece oil finish walnut grips are dated 1878 with script inspector cartouche. Left side of frame is stamped US. You will find the H.N. stamp on frame, trigger guard, back strap, bottom of one grip and cylinder along with several proof P stamps. Has all the period correct features such as matching numbers including cylinder, bulls eye ejector rod head. Condition. Near new with test fire only face burn and couple of handling marks.
