SERIAL H5285. BARREL 29". CALIBER 7X57. First supplied by the Ludwig Loewe & Co during 1895-1896. Frame stamped LOEWE BERLIN. Walnut stock, single barrel band with metal fore-end tip with bayonet lug, metal cleaning rod, blue finish, standard rear folding sight, sling swivels. Stock has Chilean crest with date. Matching serial numbers on frame, stock, cleaning rod , floor plate. Bolt stamped F2590. Chilean crest on receiver. Fire blue bolt release. No import stamps. Bolt in the white. Condition. Metal finish is 98% or better with nearly all the bright blue on bolt release. Stock is excellent with few usual small dings and impressions. Mirror bore. ANTIQUE
