Sporterized Spanish military bolt action rifle, no importer marks found. Features blued finish, wood stock with straight grip, 21" barrel, blade front & ladder rear sight, sling swivels, smooth metal buttplate, 3 position flag safety on bolt shroud. Original stepped barrel and stock forend have been shortened. Receiver markings partially obscured from grinding or filing, later added "LC" in block letters. Bolt not numbered. Bore is fair, dark and pitted, with strong rifling. Retains 40% blue, with patina and rust in many places. Rust on bolt. Bright rust at muzzle. Wood is good condition.
