"J" Series - takedown lever action rimfire rifle manufactured circa 1952. Features 24" round barrel (pre-micro groove), full length magazine tube, hooded post/bead front sight, sporting rear sight, curved grip, black plastic buttplate, blued steel forend cap, "bull's eye" in stock toe missing. Large knurled screw on right receiver for take-down. Top of receiver drilled/tapped for optics. Bore is very good condition, needs cleaning. Retains 95% blued finish with handling marks, minor scratches on the barrel, and lever, there is a small area of rust on the forearm cap.. Smooth walnut stock is very good condition with minor dents & other blemishes, a 3.5" diamond shaped inlet is cut into the right buttstock . Markings are crisp. Action is smooth.
