1983 introduction with no barrel pin in 1983, as a Lew Horton special. Double/single action revolver features blued finish, contoured wood grips with S&W medallions, 3" barrel, round butt, orange ramp front sight, white outline adjustable rear sight, smooth trigger, checkered spur hammer. Serrated backstrap. Bore is excellent/bright, cylinder charge holes appear smooth. Retains 96% blue with cylinder drag line, minor edge wear. Action is smooth with tight lock-up. Grips are very good with a couple of very minor dents, may be aftermarket, marked inside in pen "N", "BE", "TES", with "F" in circle inked stamp, medallion inlet is not typical of factory grips. Condition is NRA Near Excellent. Modern Firearm.
