^Lot 924 Stevens Bolt Action .25 RF NVSN

Vintage bolt action sporting rifle, in a rare chambering. Not model marked, consistent with features of a model 53 or 83. Features blued 24" barrel, gold beaded blade front sight, Marble's buckhorn rear sight, chromed bolt & trigger, walnut stock, ventilated rubber recoil pad. No manual safety present. Left side of receiver has drilled & tapped hole, and the adjacent wood is inlet, most likely intended for installation of a receiver sight. Bore is very good condition. Retains 60% finish, with fading and browning to blue, edge losses, impact marks on sides of rear sight dovetail. Stock is varnished, good condition. Recoil pad is a bit hard.
