^Lot 786a C. Sharps & Co. 4 Barrel .30 Cal SN 6555

Manufactured circa 1859 to 1874. Features 3" barrel assembly that slides forward to load/unload, single action spur trigger, brass bead front sight, groove rear sight. Bores are good with strong rifling with some minor spots of pitting. Barrel assembly is mostly bare metal with darker color in recessed areas with scattered pitting. Brass frame has some spots of discoloration, brass is darkened with patina. Checkered wood grips are very good condition, Action is crisp/tight, rotating striker does rotate properly, firing pin tip is broken. Frame marked on left side "C. SHARPS / PATENT 1859", and "C. Sharps & Co, Philada. P.A." on right. NRA condition-Very Good as Antique Firearm.
