Missing Buttstock. This is a Flat band "Eastern" Carbine manufactured in 1949, Has the front flat band, and the longer eastern forearm. 20" barrel with hooded post/bead front and semi-buckhorn rear sights. Winchester barrel markings are crisp/clear. Action is smooth/tight. Bore appears dark with areas of slight pitting, strong rifling.. Forearm is \ good with a few minor scratches/dings, handling wear. Blued metal finish is about 85%, with scratches, edge wear. Action is smooth/tight. NRA Condition-Fair/Missing Buttstock. C& R firearm
