^Lot 562 US M1905 Bayonet AFH 1942

type IV model of 1905 (M1942) with 1942 date, made by American Fork & Hoe, fits Springfield 03's or M1 Garand rifles. 15.75" blade, 20.5" overall, parkerized finish with dark brown plastic or bakelite scales. Good condition, with much bare metal showing. Includes a canvas M1905 outer sheath, no interior wood present, leather end tab shows distress, canvas is good with minor condition issues, wire hanger appears new. Also with this lot is a khaki canvas cleaning rod pouch, marked "R M Long 9-18", in excellent condition, either unissued or a very good reproduction, holding a three piece aluminum cleaning rod with wood handle.
