Lot 473 Colt 1895 New Army .41 Colt SN: 229333

Vintage commercial medium frame double-action revolver chambered in .38 Long Colt, manufactured circa 1904. Features blued finish, 6" barrel, round blade front sight, 'u' notched rear sight, non-shrouded ejector rod, fluted swing-out six shot cylinder, smooth trigger, knurled hammer spur and two-piece checkered black hard rubber grips with embossed "COLT", with Rampant Colt. Bore is very good condition. Retains 90% of blued finish with edge/handling wear , there is a spot of discoloration on right frame. Possibly an old re-blue, but the markings are very crisp. Cylinder is plum colored. Grips are good condition, a little worn. Assembly number "242" in frame , cylinder release, & on crane, Serial number on butt. Action is smooth with tight lock-up. Cylinder rotates counter clockwise on this model. NRA Condition-Very Good as C&R firearm
