Take down slide action rifle manufactured circa 1909-1910. Features 24" octagon barrel, half length magazine tube, blade front sight, sporting rear sight, external hammer, grooved wood pump handle, smooth wood stock with straight wrist, crescent buttplate. Bore is poor to fair, dark and corroded, some visible rifling. Metal surfaces as mostly a uniform dull light gray color with rough surface texture due to steady areas of tiny pits throughout. Wood is varnished, appears sanded when refinished. Pump handle has a small repair piece spliced in, several short cracks. Butt stock shows erosion and shrinkage, has crack from lower tang extending 6 or 7 inches towards butt. Markings are crisp and even depth. Condition is NRA Fair *** C&R Firearm ***
