MARKED REVOLVER. Cal. 38 SPL. Ser. #721053. Bbl. 4". Frame marked at top rear on left side w/ "flaming bomb" which is enhanced in white; mfg. 1944. Sideplate has "rampant Colt". Bbl. is marked on left side "COLT" "OFFICIAL POLICE" & "PT. 38". Top of bbl. has patent markings. Fixed sights. 6 shot cyl. "SA/DA". Checkered walnut grips w/ Colt medallions. CONDITION: grips have moderate to heavy wear w/ flattened diamonds. Right grip has missing chip at front strap. Metal has traces of blue turning gray w/ moderate wear & oxidation throughout. Front sight has been slightly modified by filing. Bore is shiny w/ worn lands & areas of oxidation. (22-4275/RW) CURIO. $300-500.
