Original SA (Strumabteilung) kepi. Light tan colored body with dark green felt center. The dark green color indicates the SA Austrian District (Osterreich) making this a very rare Kepi. Brown leather chinstrap. Smooth silver toned button. Leather sweatband, cloth lining. Political Eagle attached. Maker marked from Mainz, Germany on a celluloid triangle on the inside crown of kepi. Very good condition. The only issues is some of the stitching on the triangle has come loose and there 3" by 1 1/2" square cut out of the lining of the inside crown. I assume where the owners name was. A very rare and nice conditioned SA kepi.
