Lever action rifle manufactured circa 1958 and subsequently modified to a youth rifle. Features a cut-down 17" barrel, half length magazine tube, straight wrist, buckhorn sights, curved steel buttplate. Bore is very good condition, bright with strong rifling, needs cleaning. Retains 65% blued finish, thinning and turning to gray around front sight, edges of receiver, top tang. Bare metal showing at bottom front of receiver, most sharp edges & corners, at barrel band. Buttplate is dull gray bare metal, with some traces of varnish. Screw slots are generally good, many screw holes show scratched edges from use of oversize screwdriver blades. Forend is good condition with some loss of finish and some discoloration. Butt is very good condition with 11.5" LOP and hole drilled for sling stud (not present). Wood to metal fit is good.
