^Lot 5568 PRE-WWII NAVY SCRAPBOOK, PHOTOGRAPHS & TAPES.

This very intriguing group belonged to Thomas Wallace Hood of the United States Navy. A lg. 300 pg. scrapbook started by him on August 10, 1928 w/ a myriad of photographs, news articles, poems, diary entries & more pertaining to his life in the Navy. Also included is a box containing 5 cassette tapes w/ Hood recounting his service prior to his death. There is also a lg. stack of photographs pertaining to his naval service, many from the Orient. CONDITION: book shows significant age w/ tattered & worn edges. Tapes are intact but have not been verified for content. Photographs are a bit curled but are clear & sharp. (02-13955/BF). $150-350.
