This 44 star flag became official on July 10, 1890 w/ the admission to the Union of Wyoming. The flag remained in use until 1896. This flag measures 30’ x 10’. A flag of this size must have flown over a lg. official building or monument. Seams are machine sewn. Stars are cross sewn. The heading is heavy cotton canvas w/ an internal jute halyard. CONDITION: flag appears remarkably solid w/ only scattered staining & discoloration. (02-13759/BF). $200-400.
