^Lot 5509 WWI ERA MILITARY PRACTICE SWORD/FENCING OUTFIT.

Outfit consists of a Spaulding made heavily padded, tan plastron w/ 2 sleeves indicating an infantry practice group. Correct helmet has all appropriate straps & neck protection w/ welded front cage. There is a set of gauntlet gloves marked “STALL & DEAN (flaming bomb) CHICAGO 1918 C.S.”. The other set of gauntlet gloves is marked “SPAULDING 1917 W.W.W.”. CONDITION: gauntlet gloves show light wear as does the practice helmet. Plastron shows moderate wear w/ noticeable staining. (02-13696/BF). $700-1,200.
