Iron capped forearm & 2 piece walnut stock w/ inletted swivels. Approx. 12,200 Mfg. 1873-1879 in Mechanic Falls, Maine. CONDITION: metal finish has faded to a dark brown patina showing scattered surface corrosion. Forearm has lg. chip on left side. Upper stock has lg. chip on left side. Wood has added finish over numerous dents & handling marks. Action is not cocking or operating properly. (01-17731/DS). ANTIQUE. $700-1,000.
