A Native American catlinite pipe possibly, Lakota Sioux, depicting a bear w/ its right front paw inserted in the hollow of a tree likely searching for honey. As w/ most catlinite pipes, the exact age of this pipe is difficult to determine but it is an exceptionally well executed specimen. CONDITION: pipe shows use & some wear w/ no notable damage.
