Cal. 38 WCF (38-40). S# 790036. Bbl. 20" of carbine style w/ replacement pinned blade front sight & express rear sight having broken leaf. Mag. has been shortened to half length. Left side of action has staple for saddle ring. Carbine forearm & straight grip stock w/ steel carbine buttplate. 1916 Mfg. CONDITION: metal retains 70% dull fading blue showing surface corrosion & light pitting. Refinished wood has dark worn appearance w/ dents & marks. Bore retains lightly worn rifling showing some light pitting. (20-2726/DS). CURIO. $600-900.
