Action features mortised thumb print dust cover w/ staple mounted saddle ring on left side having added leather thong. Walnut carbine forearm & straight grip stock w/ steel carbine buttplate. 1876 Mfg. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: 3 Piece cleaning rod in butt compartment. CONDITION: bbl. & action blue is fading to brown. Left sideplate is a replacement. Wood has lightly cleaned finish showing scattered dents & marks. Stock has darkened area at comb w/ dark streak extending down left side of butt.
