Cal. 75. NSN. Bbl. 9" rnd. w/ smooth bore. Rear of lock is marked “PORTO / 1801” w/ crown over “PR” forward of hammer. Key fastened walnut stock w/ brass trigger guard & sideplate. Left ear of stock has deeply carved number 25. Button tip iron ramrod held by a single faceted brass pipe. CONDITION: metal has faded to silver/gray showing spots of light pitting & surface corrosion. Brass fittings show a mottled patina. Stock shows wear w/ numerous dents, handling marks & sm. chips. Lock is sound. Dark pitted bore. (01-17812/DS). ANTIQUE. $400-600.
