Cal. 7.63 Mauser. S# 216301. Bbl. 5 1/2". Standard pre war commercial example per S# range w/ all matching visible numbers plus floorplate & both commercial 32 grooved grips. Crown “U” proofs, 50-1000 tangent sight plus Mauser legend over chamber & right side of frame. Grooved receiver rails, standard hammer, stock slot & lanyard ring at butt. CONDITION: generally very good overall original appearance w/ thinning high point wear, light pitting on bottom of bbl., peppery oxidation, some scratches & fading of fire blued parts. Fair to good bore w/ lightly worn rifling & even fine pitting. (20-1541/NW). CURIO. $1,000-1,500.
