Wells Fargo marked Winchester Model 97 pump shotgun, 12 gauge, Serial #750666. The shotgun is in good overall condition with a 20” barrel with a steel bead front sight. The shotgun retains a significant amount oforiginal blue finish drifting to a dark patina. The right side of the breech is marked, “9”. The buttstock is marked, “WF&CO 9” on the right side of the buttstock. Additionally, the number “9” is stenciled onthe underside of the fore arm in yellow paint. The pistol grip has a brass disc insert marked, “25” perhaps as a rack number. A period military style leather sling has been added. The bore is fair and the actionis crisp on this Wells Fargo marked riot gun with a real good look. From the estate of a local law enforcement officer. Est.: $800-$1,600. (C+R).
