Allin conversion of Civil War Springfield to .50-70 caliber with 1866 dated breech block and 1865 dated Springfield marked lock. Good metal with minor erosion and pitting. Sharp lock markings and correct rod. The stockshows cartouche with many storage marks, dings and scratches. The action and bore are good. Early Indian war issue. (Antique) Est.: $600-$1200
