Martini-Henry British Issue falling block rifle in .577 caliber, showing a crown V.R. and 1887 with a broad head arrow proof and an IV over I on the right side of the frame, 1908 and ordnance wheel cartouche along withan Asian cartouche near the left heel of the butt plate. The rifle has a good action and good bore with strong rifling and some erosion between the grooves. The rod and sling included, the stock shows dents andimperfections and good plus overall with a 33 ½” barrel with a stud for bayonet. Est.: $600-$1,200. (Antique).
