Colt Model 1877 Lightning DA revolver, .38 caliber, Serial #135233. The pistol is in fine overall condition with a 4 ½” barrel. The pistol retains approximately 80-85% of the original blue finish with holster wear at the muzzle, thinning on the cylinder and a light freckling of surface erosion. The back of the hammer, trigger and screw heads show bright niter blue and frame has considerable vivid case hardening. The checkered hardrubber grips are in very good condition. The action works well at the time of description, the bore is good and the markings are legible. Est.: $900-$1,800. (C+R/PPT).
