US Military rifle with Buffington rear sight, 32" barrel, cleaning rod, sling swivels, stacking swivel. Bore is very good to excellent condition. Original case color on 1884 dated breech block is turning dull gray. Retains 85% coverage bright bluing, with few signs of roughness, some abrasions near muzzle. Wood is very good or better with few small gouges. Markings, inspection stamps, and stock cartouches are mostly crisp & readable; date marking on breech block is even but shallow.
