'The K-38 Combat Masterpiece' Snub-nosed medium frame double action revolver chambered in 38 Special, manufactured in Springfield, MA circa 1972. Features a lustrous blued finish, pinned 2" barrel, raised serrated ramp front sight, fully-adjustable micrometer click rear sight, serrated .500” case hardened target trigger, case hardened .375" semi-target hammer with knurled spur, fluted six-shot cylinder, non-shrouded ejector rod, three screw square butt K target frame with ten-groove grip straps and smooth faux-ivory synthetic magna grips. Revolver retains approximately 96% of its original blued finish showing light edge wear, some scattered scratches and a small amount of surface rust on the right side of the frame. Action is smooth with tight lock up, the bore is pristine, the markings are very good and the synthetic grips are fine. Condition is near NRA Very Good. ***Modern Firearm***
