Yugoslavian marked Oberndorf Model 98 Mauser bolt action rifle, 8 x 57 caliber, Serial #M3542. The rifle is in very good overall condition with a 24” barrel with a hooded front and military tangent style rear sights. The rifle retains a significant amount of original military finish with a crisp Yugoslavian crest on the front ring and a Nazi Waffen proof on the magazine base plate. There is moderate rust at the muzzle due to poor storage. The smooth wood stock is in good condition with mars and dents consistent with carry and use. The bore is good, the action is crisp and the markings are sharp. Est.: $200-$400. (C+R).
