Savage Model 99A lever action rifle, .308 Winchester caliber, Serial #D505397. The rifle is in fine overall condition with a 22” barrel. The metal surfaces retain nearly all of the blue finish with the front sightremoved and a folding rear sight. The smooth wood stock is in very good condition with a Schnabel fore end showing little use. The bore is good, the action is crisp and the markings are sharp on this desirable Model99. The rifle is topped with a Bushnell Trophy XLT 4 x 12 Variable Power scope with an adjustable objective. The lot includes sling swivels and a period leather rifle sling. Est.: $300-$600. (Modern).
