Cal. 54. NSN. This is an honest example of "1839" dated R. Johnson contract pistol made in Middleton Connecticut in standard configuration w/ 8 1/2" rnd. bbl. & swivel ramrod. CONDITION: good-very good overall, all original. Metal is overall gray w/ areas of staining & pitting. Bbl. proofs, lock markings & cartouches are all discernable. Mechanically fine w/ good smooth bore. (01-17240/JS). ANTIQUE. $1,200-1,500.
