Lot 3310 GROUP OF FOUR CIVIL WAR ERA, POSSIBLY CONFEDERATE
USED BULLET MOLDS. Four unique iron molds, one .58 cal. smooth sided “sugarloaf”, engraved “25” for bore corresponding to .58 cal. The 3 other molds are .45, .50 & .52 calibers, the .50 a picket & the other two look like CS carbine bullets. CONDITION: good to very good overall. Sprue cutter new on .52 & bullet molded w/ it accompanies. Iron molds show rust & pitting. PROVENANCE: Estate Collection of Dan Poppen. (02-13447-6/JS). $800-1,200.
