Cal. 45 Colt. S# 49844. Bbl. shortened to 5 1/2" w/ replacement front sight. Black powder frame has inspector marking "H.N." over S# "49844" & is marked "US" on left side. 6 Shot fluted cyl. S# "193". Trigger guard is number "166284". Backstrap is numbered "48585". Bbl. under ejector housing is numbered "4233". Bullseye extractor head. Replacement 1 piece hardwood grip. CONDITION: metal retains 80% dull lightly faded reblued finish over scattered light pitting. Grips are poorly fit showing numerous handling marks. Hammer shows wear & is missing 2nd "click". Bore has darkened appearance over worn, but intact rifling. (01-17523/DS). ANTIQUE. $750-1,250.
