Silver hilted cutless in Spanish style with eagle head pommel. Two tone panel inset in the manufacture one on each side of the grip and inscribed “General Marmol” and “Cuba”. Donato Marmol Tamayo was key in the Lot Title liberation of Cuba from Spain in the early 19th century. He is a true hero of Cuba and monuments to him exist on the island although the communists down play his historic significance and his role in Independence.Lot Title Measures 33” overall with a 27 ½” blade.
