D guard Mid-19th century cuttless with crudely forged and broken (Repaired) blade. The wood grip copper wire with leather spacers. Thick guard also crudely forged. Measures 27” overall with a 22 ½” blade. Fair to poor uncleaned condition. With 2 partial snake buckles included. Purchased 40 plus years ago “Down South” by a collector. This sword could be southern or Mexican. Est.: $600-$1200
