Colt SAA 1st Generation revolver, .45 caliber, Serial #97041. The pistol is in very good overall condition with a 7 ½” barrel which is a factory replacement. The barrel retains approximately 60%-70% of theflaking blue finish. The frame shows old, smoky case hardening with two screws and the cylinder pin replaced. The action and timing are both good. The hard rubber eagle grips are in very good condition with small mars.The bore is fair, the action is crisp and the markings are sharp on this desirable, early SAA circa 1883. Est.: $1,750-$3,500.
