Pair of ornate silver mounted pocket pistols converted from flintlock to percussion. French styling with dog head butts, fancy trigger guards and side plates. Beautiful carved burl wood stocks. Most of its original blue on the barrels remain and the pistol is in very good plus to almost fine original condition overall. Measures 9 1/4" overall with 5" barrels in approximately .50-52 caliber smoothbore. Hand carved ramrods. Asmall almost undetectable repair to 1 fore stock. Originally circa 1760-1780s and converted Mid-19th century. (Antique) Est.: $1500-$3000
