Winchester Model 1885 Low Wall single shot rifle, .25-20 caliber, Serial #88139. The rifle is in fine overall condition with a 28” octagon barrel with a globe front and standard rear sights. The barrel retainsapproximately 85%-90% of the toning blue finish with sharp edges. The receiver is drifting to a mixture of muted blue and grey patina with a period Marble tang sight added during the period of use. The smooth woodstocks are in very good condition with a smooth steel crescent butt plate. The bore is fair, the action is crisp and the markings are sharp on this desirable Low Wall circa 1900.
