Savage Sporter Model 23AA Bolt Action Rifle, #139082, .22 LR cal., barrel has been shortened to 18.25'' as a result the rifle does not have a front sight, metal with a blue finish; one-piece walnut stock is checkered at both the pistol-grip and forend with a serrated steel ''SVG'' buttplate. Rear sight has been removed and rifle has been topped with a Weaver B4 scope on Weaver 3/4'' rings; scope with fine crosshair reticle and gloss dark blue/black finish. Condition is good retaining approx. 70% toning blue finish, balance a mild brown patina; factory lettering is clear. Stock is serviceable with general dings and scratches, heavier at the forend which includes the checkering; bottom edge of buttstock and tip of the Schnabel forend with a putty type repair. Speedlock bolt functions smoothly; bright erosion free bore with excellent rifling. Scope is very good, exterior shows normal light age and wear; optics are a little cloudy but free of any chips or other damage. Est.: $100-$200. (C&R)
