Winchester Model 1894 Lever Action Saddle Ring Carbine, #885756, .32 Win. Spec. CF cal., 20'' barrel, with block-blade front and adjustable sliding-leaf rear sights, marked with maker's name, address and 1894 patent date, and ''Nickel Steel Barrel/Especially for Smokeless Powder'' on left side, and ''32 W.S.'' at breech; tubular half-magazine; receiver with left-side saddle stud and ring, is marked ''Model 1894/Winchester'' and trademark on upper tang, and ''885756'' at bottom front edge; case hardened loop operating lever and hammer; oil-stained walnut forearm with single barrel band, and matching buttstock with checkered hard rubber buttplate having ''Winchester Repeating Arms Co.'' in a circular cartouche. Mfg'd 1921. Condition is very good. Barrel and mag tube retain approx. 15% original blue, receiver is gunmetal gray with scattered very minor discoloration, lever and hammer show muted case colors. Stocks are sound and smooth with light use/handling marks, nice grain and color; buttplate shows good detail. Action is smooth and crisp; bore shines with sharp rifling. Est.: $500-$750. (C&R)
