Smith & Wesson Model 1000 Semi-Automatic Shotgun, #FC11373. 12 ga. 26'' vent rib barrel has 2-3/4'' chamber and is choked Skeet. Gas-operated action is contained in an alloy receiver that is nicely roll engraved. Full forend and pistol-grip buttstock are straight-grained high-gloss walnut, with well-done checkering, S&W grip cap and Pachmayr Trap butt pad. Mfg'd by Howa in Japan approx. 1970s. Condition is very good, with dovetail scope mount added to top of receiver. Extensive barrel rust near muzzle, and stock cut to 13.5'' length of pull over pad. Action appears to function correctly and bore is bright. Est.: $250-$350. (Modern)
