Small ''Baby Bulldog'' Type Double Action Revolver of Likely European Origin, NVSN, .30 CF cal., 1-7/8'' barrel; round 6-shot cylinder with oval flutes and ''(crown)/(crown/U'' (probably Belgian) proofmarks; solid frame having right-side hinged loading gate and matching proofmarks, left-side safety lever, and integral gripstraps; varnished two-piece checkered hardwood grips. Overall somewhat crudely finished in blue with case hardened hammer and trigger. Condition is about very good, retaining most original blue to frame; barrel and triggerguard with scattered light erosion, cylinder and gripstraps with 50% blue. Grips with worn checkering but sound and fit well. Action functions in both single- and double-action modes; bore is clean with shallow rifling. Est.: $150-$300. (Antique)
