Winchester Model 64 Lever Action Carbine, #1095634, .32 Win. Spec. CF cal., blued 20'' round barrel, with hooded-ramp front and dovetailed buckhorn rear sights, marked with maker's name and address at right breech, and ''Winchester Proof Steel/Model 64/Winchester Trade Mark/32 W.S.'' at left breech; blued tubular 3/4-magazine; blued receiver is marked ''Winchester/Trade Mark/Made in U.S.A.'' on upper tang, and serial number at lower front; case hardened loop operating lever and hammer; varnished walnut stocks, forend with a steel nose cap, pistol-grip buttstock with a checkered steel shotgun type buttplate. Mfg'd 1935. Condition is near excellent. Barrel, mag tube and receiver retain approx. 85% original blue (with scattered discoloration on front and rear sights, at top front, sides and upper tang of receiver); nose cap with fire blue-like coloring; lever and buttplate are a gunmetal gray-brown. Stocks are solid with nice grain and color, fit ''proud,'' and retain most of their original gloss varnish. Action is smooth; bore is bright with sharp rifling. Est.: $1,000-$1,500. (C&R)
